C. In what ways are photos better than videos? Provide an example from the Denver Post Web site.
Well a photo can mean a thousand words, but these photos were really precise on what they wanted you to notice and learn from them.

The one where the soldiers are writing to their families, and it just shows how much it would feel to miss your family.

B. What sequence of photographs is the most powerful? Why?
In the Army; because there training really hard, I couldn't be able to do any of that, it shows all of there hard work.

c. How do the images work together to tell a story?
They go by how it's supposed, how they are before they go, during the army, on breaks, training, then there first assignments, and when they come home. I have a cousin who's actually in the marines, and all these pictures look almost exactly and tell the same story he has.

Mural

1. What theme that we could take here at school could we do a series of these panels to place around the school?  Different people's styles?

2. Should we use phones only, or should we open it up to our regular cameras for those people that don't have camera phones? I think regular cameras, would be better.

3. Where would you want to put the mural on campus?

Somewhere everyone can see, like the wall when you walk right up the stairs, it's the first thing you would see.

Our next assignments will be to shoot the class-decided theme and to create a mural like this - each class will have its own and we will print them here in this room. We will take a collection to buy a mount board and some paint to make it the color we decide will be best. I would like to use phones and instagram only, but I am open to each class deciding what to shoot and how to display it. We will take all the photos and I will help print them here in class. We will do this again, especially once we learn more about photoshop, so your art will be up around the school all year, with your name under the photo, so take it seriously!!!

I hear- the wind coming through, passing by the grass, it's kind of a strong wind, it passes through the lions fur, moving the dirt.
