5W'S AND H'S

 PLANE STORY

What: Pilot mistook another plane for a planet venus, and dives down injuring people.
Who? Trans Atlantic flight
Who is involved? A first officer, a captain, and passengers.
Who does/did the situation affect? Everyone on the plane.
Who said so? Canada's Transportation Safety Board.

What? A first officer mistakes a plane for Venus for a C-17 that was just below.
What is happening? He falls asleep and wakes up not  well, clouding his judgment.
What did happen? He brought the plane down to dive under.
What are the consequences? Passengers and flight attendants were rapidly thrown around the plane.
What is different about this? How it happened, the mistake the first officer made.
What are the choices? They could have woken him and only give him the 40 minutes.
When? January 14, 2011
When did or will this happen? January 14 , 2011
When was this discovered? That same day.

Where? From Toronto to Zurich,Switzerland.
Where did or will this happen? From Toronto to Zurich,Switzerland.

Why? He wasn't feeling very well and the the plane had looked like Venus.
Why did this happen or will it happen? ^same.

How? He went down and dove under until the captain took over.
How did it or will it happen? ^same.
How much does it cost? lives, injuries, jobs.
 How many people does this affect? It affected 14 passengers and 2 flight attendants.
How do you feel about this? I feel like they could avoided this completely by just waking him up or actually taking precaution.


 Kid Arrested


Who? 6 year old Salecia Johnson
Who is involved? Salecia and family, Police, Principal.
Who does/did the situation affect? The school and the people in it.
Who said so? CNN. Police report; principal.

What? A girl throwing a tantrum.
What is happening? She was taken down to the police station
What did happen? She was throwing things, causing trouble.
What are the consequences? She was put in handcuffs and taken down to the police station.
What is different about this? Usually a girl who is SO young would be handcuffed.
What are the choices? They could have brought in the parents and tried to calm her down.

When? Friday
When did or will this happen? Friday.
When was this discovered? The day of.

Where? Creekside Elementary
Where did or will this happen? Florida

Why? She was throwing a tantrum.
Why did this happen or will it happen? They probably couldn't think of any other way to deal with the situation.
How? They called the police.
How did it or will it happen? The police took her down to the police station.
How much does it cost? Her family being angry, school property being damaged.
How many people does this affect? The school , her family.
How do you feel about this? I never thought they'd go to this limit just for a tantrum, my sister acts like this and we just sit her down? All kids have their tantrums.

 













BANNED FROM GRADUATION

Who? Austin Fisher
Who is involved? The school board,  The town, the board , Austin's family and mom , the principal.
Who does/did the situation affect? the ones above.
Who said so? CNN

What? Banned from walking at his graduation.
What is happening? Had to many absences because he was helping his sick mother and it never got called in.
What did happen? The school board banned him from graduation, prom, etc..
What are the consequences? people stood up for him.
What is different about this? he missed so much time by helping his mom.
What are the choices? To either let , or not let him walk at his graduation.

When? In the fall of 2011 and later
When did or will this happen? Fall of 2011.
When was this discovered? After , and when it was soon to graduation
Where? OHIO
Where did or will this happen? In Ohio.

Why? He had to take care of his mother so he missed school.
Why did this happen or will it happen? His mother had stage four cancer so he stayed home helping her.

How? He would drive her around and take care of her.
How did it or will it happen? he couldn't walk graduation and didn't find out till it went on Tv but everyone tried to help and support him.
How much does it cost? His graduation, his mother's life.
How many people does this affect? Him, his mother, the school board.
How do you feel about this?School board is so stupid instead of doing a full on investigation and finding out what was really going on instead of just banning him from walking in graduation.

Caption

Terrorist Attack on police with Fire

Yesterday in Iraq, Downtown square, Terrorists attacked the police by throwing bottles that were lit on fire, the attack was planned by Terrorists that wanted to overthrow the police station.




 Photo1: Viewpoint and Cropping too, it looks like they cut out some of the people so too focus more on the lights/lanterns.
Photo2: Rule of Thirds because it's focusing on the face and the face is in one square and Background
Photo3:  Leading Lines because the lines take you to the top of the hill or mountain which was the big part in the picture, and you can see that in the photo it creates depth by showing way way more farther behind of the picture oh, and I think viewpoint because.
Photo4: Background, and Balance, the background is simple which doesn't look away from the picture and the balance because of the other boat in the back, it doesn't let the picture look alone, it makes it full.
