3 LITTLE PIGS Q'S

1. How many different ways did the Guardian cover the story of the three little pigs?
-They gave the big picture "Pigs boiled the wolf" accusing first, like what they heard first hand, then kind of their side of the story, what the people thought, then the wolf's side.

2. Is the story the same as you remember it as a child?
-No, it's accusing the pigs this time saying it was their fault.

3. Who did they interview?
The people, the wolf.

4. What aspects of the story did they cover?
The pigs were at fault in this story, they go to court, the wolf has asthma, there's people in it, it's more like a cop thing.

5. Were there any aspects of the three little pigs story that were not covered?
Not really, most of it was covered but with a twist.

6. Did the Guardian ever offer their opinion of what happened, who was guilty, who was not guilty?
No, they just stated that the pigs were guilty, probably the first thing they heard, was the first thing they printed out.

7. Can we do this for events on our campus on a daily basis?
Uhm yeah I think so, all depends on us.

8. How can you help make this a reality?
not sure, I'm a little confused by this.

This photo is up and close on detail of this building, you can see all the hard work it would take to construct a building as beautiful as this.

Terrorist Attack on police with Fire

Yesterday in Iraq, Downtown square, Terrorists attacked the police by throwing bottles that were lit on fire, the attack was planned by Terrorists that wanted to overthrow the police station.

Photo1: Viewpoint and Cropping too, it looks like they cut out some of the people so too focus more on the lights/lanterns.
Photo2: Rule of Thirds because it's focusing on the face and the face is in one square and Background
Photo3:  Leading Lines because the lines take you to the top of the hill or mountain which was the big part in the picture, and you can see that in the photo it creates depth by showing way way more farther behind of the picture oh, and I think viewpoint because.
Photo4: Background, and Balance, the background is simple which doesn't look away from the picture and the balance because of the other boat in the back, it doesn't let the picture look alone, it makes it full.

Japan Earthquake

This is really scary to know an earthquake did this, killed so many people, destroyed so many  things, people lost jobs, got contaminated with nuclear "stuff" radiation.
I'd say there's balance, and it stood clear of mergers.

This is really sad, it makes you think how it would feel to lose your home or family members in such a tragic way, lose memories and all.
Rule of thirds, balance.

People's memories, treasures, beloved things all gone.
so fast, so many died, so many mourn for those who did.
balance, rule of thirds, simplicity.

Magazine cover Part II

1. Early Magazine Covers

-They don't really have a cover, it just starts with the title, or maybe a table of contents, they modeled it a lot after books, some had a simple illustration with just a title, and went straight into the first article. It's the simplest version of a magazine you could ever see.

2. The Poster Cover

-They were magazines with only sometimes a picture because that's all it needed to tell you what it was about. Many of the covers were over-sized, as if they were meant to be hung on a wall like a poster. It was like a way of telling you "a picture is a thousand words" or something like that.

3. Pictures Married to Type
This one was kinda tricky, but I think it's a picture that relates to the main topic of the Magazine, or the big story inside it. So it's a relationship between the picture with a story. So in a way it told the story by just the picture but it wouldn't be ab;e to do it by itself without the words or the story without making sense.

4. In the Forest of Words
I didn't understand this one, it sounded like the poster cover one, except this one was talking more about the words on the cover, and I guess it's like the way the use the words how they type and word things on the cover that make you want to read it. It has a lot to do with the sidebar of words, where most magazines do that, instead of just putting small stories or titles everywhere making it look like jumbled mess.

Akins, Building, Happy

I thought this picture worked with the "Akins" theme because, everyone knows the fishbowl, every morning, or after lunch, or through passing periods, this is where most kids are.
I really like how my "Building" picture came out, I would've liked it better in color, but either way. I thought it fit the theme because when I was in middle school, This building of the school is the one I recognized all the time.
Okay, so between this picture, and the bottom picture I couldn't decide with was happy, but I ended up picking the obvious one, which was the Smile one, I mean a smile means Happy, but the bottom was really funny, I thought something funny, laughter, is what makes you smile which is Happy.
